Zoning
Some Rooms Too Hot other Rooms Too Cold
Are some rooms in your home too hot while others rooms too cold, do you need to turn your air conditioning down so low that you over cool your main level just to keep the upstairs comfortable? Zoning maybe your answer.
Your heating and cooling system puts out heated or cooled air that runs through the ducts to the various rooms of your home and mixes with the air that is already there.
Every home is different because of floor plan layout; wind and sun exposures sky lights etc. and let´s not forget warm air rises and the cold air falls. So different rooms have different heating and cooling requirements to maintain your desired comfort level.
Also, there are times when you are not using various rooms and could save a considerable amount of money by not heating and cooling them to optimal comfort level, for example at night when you heat or cool your entire home while occupying only your bedrooms.
All of this can be accomplished with zone controls, we can create as many or as few zones as you require.
Here's How It Works
Dampers are inserted into the ducts leading to the different areas of your home; each area is control by its own thermostat that regulates the amount of air that flows to that area or zone. This allows you to selectively maintain the desired comfort level in that zone or room. Your heating and cooling system will run less saving you energy, $$ and you´ll be able to maintaining the comfort level you desire.
