Its quality should provide an overall return on your investment by saving you money on utility bills, repairs and other service inspection costs. At Airflow Service Company, we have implemented a program that includes regular heating and cooling system inspection and maintenance. You’ll never have to worry if your system is up to standards because we frequently check it for you. Our Comfort Club program provides customers a peace of mind that they’re living in a safe, healthy and comfortable environment.
Over the years we have found that most homeowners routinely change their filters and that’s about it. Some have even upgraded to a pleated style filter from Home Depot or Lowe’s. These filters still allow the finer dust particles to accumulate on critical components affecting the efficiency and the capabilities of your equipment. How many homeowners go inside their systems to clean the indoor coil, blower wheel, and motors? Not to mention checking electrical amp draws, refrigerant levels, outdoor coil condition/cleanliness, condensate lines and traps, condensate pump operation/cleanliness, electric backup heat strips and furnace burner condition/cleanliness. Just on a coil alone, 0.042 inches of dirt build up can result in a decrease of efficiency of 21%.

How Often Should Routine Maintenance Be Performed
Due to changing seasons and so many items that need to be checked according to the weather conditions, your heating and air conditioning system should be serviced 2 times per year or every 6 months. Before the cooling season begins and before the heating season begins. With utility rates on the rise along with everything else, should we give them anything extra? All of the items above and a few more technical aspects of your air conditioning and heating system should be maintained periodically! Saving you money now and in the future. Routine maintenance is the key to making your system last its full life, run as efficient as it can and provide the most comfort for as long as possible. One misconception we hear a lot of is, my system is only _______ years old, so I don´t need it done. Everyone needs to realize again, it’s just like your new or old car! If you choose not to change the oil according to the required maintenance schedule, will they give you a new engine when it fails? With this said routine maintenance is vital whether it’s new or old! Lack of maintenance equals lack of performance so enroll in one of our programs today!
